Late last week, Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Note Edge. Aside from its 5.6-inch Quad HD screen, the Note Edge features a bent edge display that serves as an extension of the screen. Hate it when those icons and settings cloud the screen? The side screen was designed to solve that for an unobstructed view of the magnificent Super AMOLED display.
Running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 @ 2.5GHz, 3GB RAM, and 64GB storage, the Note Edge is a decent smartphone with reasonable stats. However, is the Note Edge really bringing something new to the table with the new side-screen feature, or is it just appealing to our sense of novelty to overlook the same-old specs and mediocre material/build quality? Tell us what you think about it. (Robert Soriano)
