OGIE: After Angelina and Yaya’s movie, I think rest for a while, then I’ll release a new album. Next year, my options are still open. There are a couple of films I’d like to do. (In one) I’d play a (straight) guy, and it’s a love story between someone blind and someone deaf. I’d play the deaf. It’s a romantic comedy, so I’m inclined to do that. Mother Lily is thinking of doing another film for me, but I don’t know yet. I said, “Sige, Mother, basta wag lang ako babae!” (laughs)
PLAYBOY: Who would you like to work with?
OGIE: So many! I hope I’ll be able to work with Dolphy some day, or Vic Sotto. Joey De Leon, I have, when I was younger. Among my contemporaries, I’d really like to work with Eugene Domingo. I’d also like to work with actors who are more familiar with drama. Like, I worked with Juday just recently, and it was fantastic, working with a real actor whose forte isn’t comedy.
PLAYBOY: What was the last good movie you saw?
OGIE: I really, really enjoyed Taken. I also like the series they show on HBO, like the Sopranos. I don’t mind watching them over and over again.
